About Me

Hey there! My name is Kirsten Tate. I’ve lived in Washington my entire life and it still never seizes to amaze me with its natural beauty. While in high school, my interest in photography began by taking photos of the surrounding mountains and scenery, but it was when I became a mama to my little boy that my passion for capturing life’s extraordinary moments sparked.

I was very close with my grandmother, who went by C.lou, and while she passed the hour before my son was born, I chose to have her name live on in something that is so close to my heart- hence, The Lou Project.

I would love to help you capture all those genuine moments that create your life’s story unique to you. From branding to maternity and newborn to senior portraits, engagements, and family sessions, my soul thrives on capturing memories for you to love for a lifetime. I am what you would call a story teller. I want you to feel something when you look at my work. It is a true form of art.
