Hey there! I’m Kirsten Louise — the heart and soul behind The Lou Project. A proud Washington native, I’ve always been inspired by the beauty around me, but it was becoming a mama to my sweet boy that truly ignited my passion for capturing life’s most meaningful moments.

Photography is more than a job — it’s where my soul comes alive. Every shoot is a chance to connect, to celebrate, and to preserve the magic in everyday life. I pour my whole heart into every session, because that’s just who I am — a fierce lover, a loyal friend, and a storyteller at my core.

The Lou Project is named in honor of my grandmother, C.lou, who passed just an hour before my son was born. Her love lives on in every image I create, and her spirit guides the way I see the world — with tenderness, depth, and intention.
